March Madness Pool- Leaders

5 people are still in the running for Crunch Time Sports’ March Madness pool! Here are the situations:
Scott Dorman wins if Duke wins against West Virginia.
Justin Larkins wins if West Virginia wins it all.
John Zaccari, Chris Cuccia, Dan Gould, and Justin Larkins will be in a 4-way tie if West Virginia loses in the National Title Game. Gentlemen, please submit your tiebreaker (total score in Title Game) if you haven’t yet. Closest to the title wins. If two people tie, the score under the actual total will win.
Best of luck!

“Random Accurate Thoughts” by CTS Staff

-Never mind utility player, Sean Rodriguez might end up settling in RF for the Rays for the whole season. Word from Rays camp is his outfield defense is much improved.
-Surprise surprise…Urban Meyer is in the news again. Apparently he’s upset about what a reporter wrote regarding a story on a current Gators’ player’s opinion on Tim Tebow. Hey Urban, Tebow’s gone and not coming back. It’s time to move on.
-Let’s hope the Rams don’t trade for Donovan McNabb. If they do, they’ll likely take Suh 1st with the Lions taking Gerald McCoy 2nd. This puts the Bucs in a tough spot picking 3rd.
-Ohio State is now the favorite to win it all in college [...] Read More..

Bracket Help

A Little Bracket Help from Crunch Time Sports
Don’t be “that guy” in your March Madness pool that picks all #1 seeds to make the Final Four. These 4 teams might not be at the level of Kentucky, Syracuse, Kansas, and Duke, but they’re poised to make a deep run and make you some cash:

Ohio State. It seems like every year, a Big Ten team makes a run all the way to the Final Four. Last year, it was Michigan State. This year, it’s the Buckeyes. Led by player of the year candidate Evan Turner, Ohio State has the star power, the coaching, and the big game experience to go all the way.
Georgetown. The team that [...] Read More..

March Madness 2010 by: CTS Staff

It may come as no surprise to you that the projected #1 seeds in the NCAA men’s basketball tournament are as follows the Syracuse Orange, the Duke Blue Devils, the Kentucky Wildcats, and the Kansas Jayhawks. I can’t argue that these teams don’t deserve it, but isn’t it a waste of time giving Duke such a high seed? It seems like every year the Blue Devils lose in the sweet sixteen or elite eight and the only reason they make it that far is their high seeding.
I propose putting Duke in the play in game as the 65 seed each and every year. Then we don’t waste time watching them self destruct in the later rounds. I know [...] Read More..
