Rays Report

The Rays will finish off their two game series tonight against the Yankees and begin interleague play with a three game series at Houston. The matchup tonight will be “Big Game” James Shields vs. Andy Pettitte. The Yankees are 7-0 this season with Pettitte on the hill but I think this is as good a time as ever to hand them their first loss of the season.
Shields K/BB ratio this year is off the charts and he’s stepped his game up. With a victory the Rays will pull ahead to a five game lead in the East and continue to have the best overall record in baseball. I’m predicting a 6-4 win tonight with B.J. Upton leading the way [...] Read More..

Random Accurate Thoughts

-The Rays could probably play .500 baseball from here on out and still win the Wild Card
-Ben Zobrist is somehow still sitting at 0 HR’s on the season and can no longer be called ‘Zorilla’
-The Magic will make the rest of the Celtics series interesting but lose in 6 games
-Ron Hextall would be a great fit for the ‘Bolts no matter his title
-How hammered were the 2 USF basketball players who pulled the dine and dash considering they had a 40 dollar bill between them at Village Inn
-Micheal Clayton should not make the Bucs final roster. What happened to this guy? He was awesome his rookie year

“Point The Finger”

Joe freakin’ Maddon folks. Gotta love this guy. Yeah right! I really think that he’s just a natural BS’er. He’s not a liar he just can’t help himself. Constantly talking about players taking good lead off’s from first and hitting good foul balls and how it’s all about “the process”. No Joe. This is the MLB, results matter. Winning games is what it is all about. It’s the only thing that matters. I understand if you do things the “right” way then even if you’re slumping you should eventually come out of it but come on Joe. He’s just flat out full of it but what do I know right Joe? Earlier this season he said something in the St.Pete [...] Read More..

Whats wrong with the World!!!! By: CTS Staff

Eric ******* Byrnes, my god, star of beer league softball. Wouldn’t you say he is the definition of “tool” as describing a person. I mean I know he is bad and crow hops unnecessary and runs in to outfield walls because it looks cool. It was just a few years ago he hit .286 with 21HR and 50 SB. Maybe he should just do what he’s told in the batters box, instead of hanging people out to dry.
to check out how cool he really is click the link below

And please stop trying so hard Eric, everybody knows you’re the cool kid in school. Get your act together after letting your team down and embarrassing yourself you [...] Read More..

“Point the Finger”

Bigger loss Carl Crawford vs. Carlos Pena???
Carl Crawford
-The Rays are the only organization he has ever known after coming up at the age of 21 back in 2001 and has arguably been the G.O.A.T. for the team.
-He has been a rock in leftfield never missing more than 10-15 games a year and continually getting better offensively and in the field.
-Prototypical number 2 hitter in any line up and brings a speed and excitement factor to every game.
-Can have an effect on everyone around him. While he’s always been a leader by example his speed constantly puts pressure on pitcher’s and can force them into miscues.
Carlos Pena
-Has hit 116 homeruns over the last 3 years. Leading the American League in that [...] Read More..
