“Random Accurate Thoughts” by CTS Staff

More random (but 100% correct) sports thoughts…
You heard it here first!!!!!
-2010 St. Louis Rams starting quarterback…Donovan McNabb.
-What the hell did the Lightning do at the trading deadline? For a team making a push for the playoffs, trading a team leader for a glorified AHL player is not exactly ideal. FIRE GENERAL MANAGER BRIAN LAWTON!!!
-In order for the Rays to make the playoffs, someone needs to step up and be a true Ace for the pitching staff. They have 4 #2 starters right now, but must have someone to rely on as a true stopper. Who’s the top candidate? David Price.
-The Bucs desperately need to address offensive skill positions in the draft. First pick should [...] Read More..

“Random Accurate Thoughts” by CTS Staff

-If Cincy beats the Gators easily tonite, they deserve at least a share of the national title.
-Major props to those USF fans making the long voyage to Canada for tomorrow’s bowl game. We need more fans like you.
-How can you not love Cadillac Williams? This dude has been through it all with injuries and still runs like a man possessed.
-The Bucs need to trade up and get Ndamukong Suh.
-The Winter Classic is the best idea the NHL has had in a VERY long time…but just once a year? Something that awesome needs to happen more often.
-Jason Bay’s departure from Boston combined with our smart offseason moves makes the Rays the 2nd best team in the AL East [...] Read More..

Whether it’s the orange uniforms or empty seats at the “ballpark” (I use the word ballpark very loosely), snapshots of the Tampa Bay sports scene have often been the national symbol for athletic incompetence. However, recent success with our sports franchises has resulted in Tampa Bay fans expecting a little more. That is why the failed 2009 seasons of the Rays and Buccaneers have caused quite a stir in this bandwagon community.
Being the avid sports talk radio listener that I am, I all too often hear show participants try to pinpoint the single reason for our team’s [...] Read More..
