Da Bulls!!!

The USF Bulls took another step forward in their first season with new head coach Skip Holtz. By beating Rutgers 28-27, Wednesday night at Raymond James Stadium the Bulls evened their Big East record at 2-2. They also kept their overall record above .500 at 5-3 in front of an announced crowd of 39,465. The victory was number 100 for the program. Senior running back Mo Plancher led the way with 135 yards rushing on 21 carries. He added 3 catches for 45 yards but had no scores. Bulls QB B.J. Daniels had  just a decent game but did enough to get the win. Daniels, a true Sophomore, completed 10 of his 17 pass attempts for 149 yards. He threw [...] Read More..

Random Accurate Thoughts

-The Rays could probably play .500 baseball from here on out and still win the Wild Card
-Ben Zobrist is somehow still sitting at 0 HR’s on the season and can no longer be called ‘Zorilla’
-The Magic will make the rest of the Celtics series interesting but lose in 6 games
-Ron Hextall would be a great fit for the ‘Bolts no matter his title
-How hammered were the 2 USF basketball players who pulled the dine and dash considering they had a 40 dollar bill between them at Village Inn
-Micheal Clayton should not make the Bucs final roster. What happened to this guy? He was awesome his rookie year

“Random Accurate Thoughts” by CTS Staff

-Zorilla in the 3 hole??? I always thought that spot ws reserved for your best all around hitter…AKA Evan Longoria.
-If the greatest closer of all time Mo Rivera can come in to the game in the 8th inning I’m pretty sure Rafeal Soriano can handle a 4 out save.
-How much is former USF reciever Carlton Mitchel kicking himself for leaving after his junior year considering he wasn’t drafted till the 6th round and to add insult to injury it was to the Browns. OUCH
-What is up with George Selvie getting no love. He went in the 7th round but could be the next Simeon Rice.
-The Bolts don’t have the defensemen to play a wide open style of play… former Devils [...] Read More..

“Random Accurate Thoughts” by CTS Staff

More random (but 100% correct) sports thoughts…
You heard it here first!!!!!
-2010 St. Louis Rams starting quarterback…Donovan McNabb.
-What the hell did the Lightning do at the trading deadline? For a team making a push for the playoffs, trading a team leader for a glorified AHL player is not exactly ideal. FIRE GENERAL MANAGER BRIAN LAWTON!!!
-In order for the Rays to make the playoffs, someone needs to step up and be a true Ace for the pitching staff. They have 4 #2 starters right now, but must have someone to rely on as a true stopper. Who’s the top candidate? David Price.
-The Bucs desperately need to address offensive skill positions in the draft. First pick should [...] Read More..
