The USF Bulls took another step forward in their first season with new head coach Skip Holtz. By beating Rutgers 28-27, Wednesday night at Raymond James Stadium the Bulls evened their Big East record at 2-2. They also kept their overall record above .500 at 5-3 in front of an announced crowd of 39,465. The victory was number 100 for the program. Senior running back Mo Plancher led the way with 135 yards rushing on 21 carries. He added 3 catches for 45 yards but had no scores. Bulls QB B.J.
