“Born to Corn” Cornhole Tournament

 
 
Thanks to everyone for participating in the 2010 “Born to Corn” cornhole tournament!  Gators Café and Saloon provided a great venue, and you all provided the fun.
The 15 teams battled through 4 games each of divisional play.  When it was all said and done, the top 2 teams from each division went on to the cash bracket, while the bottom 3 from each division went to the bar tab bracket.  Division winners included the #1 seed Children of the Corn, #2 seed ACO Florida, and #3 seed Young Guns.
The bar tab bracket saw some upsets, as the 7^th seeded Team Ramrod won their first round game and the 4^th seeded Pretty/Hood beat top seeded Gloryhole.  In the end, it would be James and Rich of Pretty/Hood facing off against Brandon and Scott of the CornStars in a three-game series.  Pretty/Hood squeaked by in game 1 and cruised in game 2 to win the bar tab bracket!  Congratulations guys!  And, nice job by Joe and Scott of Gloryhole for winning the 3^rd place game.
Congratulations to Matt and Cody of ACO Florida for winning the championship cash bracket!  That makes it 4 Crunch Cups for Matt and Cody as they continue their impressive run.  Alanna and Chris of PB&J made a nice run of their own, making it all the way to finals as the #5 seed.  This included a big upset over the #1 seeded Children of the Corn, who allowed only 1 point in divisional play.  However, PB&J couldn’t stop the ACO train in the end.  ACO won the three-game series easily, 21-2 and 21-2.  In the 3^rd place game, the Young Guns took down Children of the Corn.
All Crunch Time Sports cornhole tourneys include FREE contests for all players.  This time, it was Scott Dorman of Gloryhole who took down the “Go Big or Go Home” contest!  Congrats Scott and hope you enjoyed that free bucket!
